We wish to collect and collate press releases generated by the OOo community. This issue is to be used as a temporary repository for press releases published by the OOo community. Please attach your press release or provide a link to the source document. The intention is to provide greater access to all press releases with the aim of creating awareness of our international community. If you have an English (or other language) translation, even incomplete or in abstract form, please include that in this comment or description field before attaching your file.
Ji, This part as been added on the FR pr for OOo 1.1.1 Some new tools are also available in french : - Cart'OOo : a fabulous tutorial assorted with map libraries for the Gallery which allow you to create maps with Draw - PincOOo : will allow you to reproduce the style in the same that the brush do it in Microsoft Office - Multisave : in only one clic, save your documents in the file format of you choice SXW/SXC - PDF - DOC/XLS - SHOOo : a PHP class which allow to create a HTML Table and a Calc document from the result of a SQL query or from the content of a PHP table, illustrating the XML file format of OpenOffice.org and how it could be processed out of the suite. i played around with this image and when I reduced it so that it would actually fit on the homepage its relation to OOo was utterly invisible. So, I'm vetoing this image for the homepage. But, I *would* like something that more clearly demonstrates the CS project's relation to OOo and the community. Louis
I think we missed the opportunity to popularize Prague and we should learn from this for the future. IMO we do not need to put Prague picture at homepage now, because it is too late.
