I believe that this refers to the visual representation of a formula rather than
a function resulting in a mathematical equivalent.

The two items really are quite different even if the same name is used.  I would
actually like to request that the name of the "Formula" toolbar in Writer be
changed to "Quick Calculation" or something similar in order to avoid confusion.

With regards to this issue, what exactly is needed.  The help file already seems
to address this.

I was not aware of this task but see that most of what is asked is alread in the
User Guides. Re-assigning and Accepting.
