Description kschmir 2004-04-21 10:21:13 UTC
The current location of the close button e.g. on the find dialogue is confusing.
It sits in the middle of other buttons that can refine the search in different
ways, or, if you read the buttons in columns left to right, it is the next to
last item before the help button. Point is, all the buttons around it, including
help, imply that you want to continue using a dialogue; I and I'm sure others
keep looking for the close button first in order not to inadvertently close the
window.

I suggest moving the close button (maybe together with help) to the lower left
hand side of the panes and reserve the right side for the buttons that deal with
specific dialogue functions.

The status says otherwise, but this really seems to be resolved for 2.0.

Most dialogues in the 1.9.* versions have a neat lower line for the Cancel und
Help &c buttons, although there are still a few exceptions (like the thesaurus
dialog). I, as the reporter, would put this on "resolved" if I knew how. My next
sip of OOolong is on the developers!

To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on
my owner to the owner "requirements".
