Description ingo.schmidt-rosbiegal 2004-04-23 15:27:49 UTC
Using native installer (rpm) there is no more way to execute basic scripts
during setup. Therefore the link to the libfreetype.so.6 can no longer be
created. An alternative has to be found.
This has to be fixed in cws networker3.

I suggest to either add a dependency (is this possible in a distribution
independend way?) or to replace the basic script with a shell script. Here is
the algorithm:
if( not_installed( libfreetype.so.6 ) )
    install( our_libfreetype.so.6 )

IS -> MCI: If there is no /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6, the Office creates a link
libfreetype.so.6 in the program directory the the libfreetype licated in
program/filter
This is Linux only and is fixed in cws networker3.

In runlevel 3 I renamed the /usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6, installed So using the
native installer and then the link in /path/to/Office/program/ was created...
verified in networker3
