Description stastnj1 2004-04-24 12:21:05 UTC
Problem: Macro Recorder is not able to reproduce my sequence of operations

The shortest sequence of operations leading to the described behaviour:

click: Tools/Macro/Record Macro
click: Insert/Table/Ok
 (a table 5 times 2 is inserted)
Right Click to the first table cell: selected Table from the pop-up menu,
click on background, select For: Table, 10% Gray, OK
Click on Stop Recording, assign a name to macro

If you execute the macro, the table background is not set.
Anyway, in the basic macro code, there is a code for background setting.

If the inserted table is just 1 times 1 cell of size, the background sets but
the frame stays with white backround - one will get a black-on white frame
around the gray cell.

I haven't reproduced yet this sequence, but in general there are many which are
not completely implemented..

I agree with Maxweber. that we need to support as much as possible functions
by macro recorder. so we can save time. not loosing time by confuse because
some is not recorded.
