Description ctohastek 2004-05-07 02:20:28 UTC
As text is entered into a table cell, the cell grows in size to accomodate the
text. When the cell boundary reaches the end of the page, it will not flow
continuously into the next page as text is added. Text becomes truncated and the
table cell tries to continue into the display's dead (background) area between
document pages.

Try the following:

1. Create a table with 2 cells in writer
2. Format the table cells as you wish
3. Format the table/cell page break behavior as you wish
4. Grab many lines of text from another source, much larger than the
table cell
5. Paste into cell
6. Or, instead of pasting from an external source, enter text manually until
cell has to break page and continue

confirmed on SuSE RPM of OO 1.1 and 1.2 built from source, on linux and FreeBSD5
(source)

Bummer, I could make some really nice documents if this could work :)

Thank you. (btw great work on OO!!!)
