Description skwashd 2004-07-02 02:36:15 UTC
When saving a file in "M$ Word doc" format in OO.o 1.1.1-debian, with "First
Page" selected as the page style, the style selection is reatianed, but the tray
selection (which is set in the default template) is lost.

Steps to reproduce:
* Create a new 2 page document
* Set "First Page" as the page style of the first page
* Save as "M$ Word 95/97/2k/XP doc"
* Print document
* See that the 2 pages are on seperate trays
* Close Document
* Open Document
* Check style of first page - it is set to First Page
* Print Document
* Scream

Desired Functionality
* Tray selection is retained after document is closed

Work around
* Save as OO.o sxw
  Not practical as there are several laptops which must keep M$O2k - long story

Hardware/Software Setup
* Workstation
   AMD64 3200+
   1G RAM
   80G SATA HDD
   Debian Sid
   OpenOffice 1.1.1
   CUPS
   HP 8000N PPD

* Print Server
   PIII800
   512M RAM
   2x40G HDD (RAID 1)
   Debian Sarge
   CUPS
   HP8000N PPD

* Printer
   HP8000N
   JetDirect Card

All printing is spooled to the print server before being sent via the LAN to the
HP8000N

This bug is driving my users nuts.

Keep up the great work.

Cheers

Dave

MRU->MM: I don't know if this can be solved in the filter or if this has to be
done in sfx/vcl.
Could you please have a look, when you are allowed by your work load?
