Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 31328
Custom Page Format Margin lost when printing
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Built two Custom Pages on The Custom Styles catagory. The first is a document first page with specific margins and custom header. Margins are set at 1.0" on all sides. Register true is on. The second page style is listed as the next Style. Saved the custom style under specific title such as Doc_first_page. The second is a document page with the same specific margines, all are set to 1.0". The header is different and not linked. The next style is set as this same style. Register true is on. Saved to the custom styles under specific tytle as Doc_second_page. Document typed using these styles for the appropriate pages. Margins show on the display as being correct at 1.00" as specified in the style. When printing the first page matches the margins as given, but the next pages are all moved down by 0.75 inches. The page size is correct on all pages, it is specified as Letter. The correct style shows on each page while typing.

Additional comments from reporter by mail: "If I print a single page out of the middle it does not match the printing from a page printed from a print run of the whole document. The single internal page matches what it shows on the screen. I have this problem with StarOffice 7, update 2, and Open Office 1.1 My printer is a Hp Deskjet 540C, on a Cups server, operating system is Suse 9.0 with all updates installed. The printer is local, /dev/lp0 using the standard default drivers."
