Description tuomo 2004-07-17 12:48:37 UTC
http://qa.openoffice.org/testcase/assertions/tools/spl_chk06.html
10. Type in the word 'ssscore', then place cursor at the home position.
11. Select Tools - SpellCheck - Check
12. The SpellCheck dialog box should appear, there should be no suggested
replacement word.

Actually, replacement words (scoreless, scorers, score's, scored, scoreline,
scores, fourscore, scorer, score, scorecard) are displayed as "Suggestions" in
OOo 1.1.2.

Suggested by Masaya Kimoto on discuss@ja.openoffice.org.

SBA: Where does this test case come from? Th fact that "sscore" brings
suggestions is a good thing, I think.
In StarOffice, other linguistic files are used. In StarOffice 6.0 PP3, the
described test case leads to the result "No suggestion for "ssscore" - Current
OOo and StarOffice builds give a suggestion and since this is better than no
suggestion, the problem is that test case and not the behavior of the
Spellcheck. Pleae comment.
Reassigned to me.
Comment 2 stefan.baltzer 2004-08-05 11:09:00 UTC
SBA: Sert to "Worksforme"
Comment 3 tuomo 2004-08-05 14:24:36 UTC
tuomo->sba: Totally agree with you. I just meant that the testcase should be
revised, because OOo builds give a suggestion, which is better than the testcase
description. Sorry if the way I filed this issue was misunderstanding, and
please let me know how to have the testcase revised.
Comment 4 stefan.baltzer 2004-09-06 15:50:48 UTC
SBA: At QA, we are currently preparing new test cases in order to put them
online. These old ones will vanish then. Closing this issue.
