Hi Joerg,

Oliver said in issue 30978 that you will take care of this issue.

I don't have the final configure patch ready, but you need the
"conf_vc_tool.diff" patch from issue 30978 and you have to add the path to
?/Microsoft SDK/Bin/Win64/ (for nmake) to your PATH before calling configure.

You also need the .NET Framework SDK (for msvcrt.lib) to be installed.

With this and the MS VC .NET 2003 Toolkit the build runs until it fails in
python. ;)

Hi,

I have just committed a solution to the cws_src680_pythonupgrade cws, which
should work for all VC compilers hopefully ...

Bye,

Joerg

Fixed on cws pythonupgrade.
Comment 3 thorsten.ziehm 2004-11-12 08:40:49 UTC
not regression in this pythonupdate CWS. Set the task to 'verified'
Comment 4 ace_dent 2008-05-16 03:29:42 UTC
This Issue is 'Verified' and not updated in 1yr+, so Closing.
A Closed Issue is a Happy Issue (TM).

Andrew
