Description Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2004-07-22 14:17:04 UTC
See issue #29117 - In the given Microsoft Word document a floating screen object
with wrapping style 'Through' somehow influences the positioning of the other
floating screen objects.
This behaviour needs a detailed analysis in order to improve the vertical
positioning of floating screen objects in Writer for Microsoft Word documents.
Comment 1 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2004-07-22 14:18:59 UTC
adding keyword ms_interoperability

Comment 3 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2005-04-28 08:16:22 UTC
first investigation reveals, that depending on the wrapping style of a floating
screen object, the text is wrapping differently around the object. There are
differences between 'Through', 'Tight' and 'Square'

Note: take given document, extend page height to 50cm, extend page header height
to 20cm and try out different wrapping styles
Comment 4 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2005-04-28 08:18:29 UTC
Another aspect of Microsoft Word analysis is, what is happing, if the complete
text area is covered by a floating screen object and its wrapping style.
