Description pmakde 2004-07-24 10:28:35 UTC
openoffice is unable to open non unicode encoded ( SHift JIS, EUC ) japanese
word document. I tried using SDK API loadComponentFromURL() . It suppose to
automatically detect document type and load it.

Could you attach a sample doc to this issue, so we can test it ?
And: Have you tried this with a newer version than 1.0.2 (which is rather old) ?
Comment 2 thackert 2004-11-01 10:01:05 UTC
I close this issue because the OP has not attached a file, so noone can test it.
Comment 3 thackert 2004-11-01 10:05:17 UTC
The OP has not add further information or an attachment to prove this issue. You
could reopen this issue everytime if this issue is also in newer versions of OOo.
