I will attach a very short Word document that I received the other day. When
opened in OOo it is 3 pages long, whereas in Word it is only 2. In OOo the first
page is blank and pressing page down causes OOo to emit a beep. The third page
is also blank, again causes OOo to emit a beep and this time is missing a whole
section of text.

Is the attachment problem to do with Issue 23650 ? I assume this is still not
fixed ? Is there anyone to whom I ca e-mail the offending Word document ?

Please check, if the document contains a table which contains a cell, which is
breaking from one page to another. This is adressed by issue 2109.
If not, you can provide the document to mru@openoffice.org.

Ah yes, you are indeed correct. The author has a table in which there is 1 cell
per page and each cell is 100% page width !!! So I didn't spot this immediately.
Sorry about that.
