Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 3269
Default Row Height
Last modified: 2017-08-10 19:59:34 UTC
The default row height is set to 0.0" for all cells when first starting. I have been unable to find a place to over ride this setting.
Hi Jeff, first were did you find that the default row height is set to 0.0"? Does that mean you're seeing only border lines in the moment? There are two dialogs dealing with row heights. The first is 'format->row->height...' this dialog is different from zero to me. The second is 'format->row->optimal height...'. The value you find there is of course zero because it means 'optimal height + this'. If you're not satisfied with the default height then open an empty spreadsheet, use 'format->row->height...', enter you're desired value and save the spreadsheet as the default template. Regrds, Peter
works for me.
Hi Jeff, another idea, does your OOo find any font? Regards, Peter

This seems to be a fonts problem, an error of the RedHat distribution, see http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?msgId=230034&listName=users
