Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 32800
Outline Numbering in masterdocument crashes OOo
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
When choosing menu Tools-Outline Numbering in a masterdocument converted from Ooo1.1.2, already containing 4 levels of Outline Numbering attached to Paragraph styles Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 3 and Heading 4, the Level 1 shows Heading 10 as attached paragraph style, Level 2 and further (none) as paragraph style. When changing Level 1 to paragraph style Heading 1, Level 2 to Heading 2 a.s.o., and clicking button OK in the dialog, OOo crashes. There is no possibility to correct the Outline Numbering (not retained in saved file and restarting with the File Recovery).
Created attachment 17054 [details] screenshot of dialog Outline Numbering
I cannot reproduce the problem with my testdocument created withh OO 1.1.2 and opened in 680m49. Please attach such a sample of yours, so that we can double the problem here.
Created attachment 17081 [details] Masterdocument with subdocuments
The attachment zipfile contains a masterdocument and 3 subdocuments. All were made with OOo1.1.2 and loaded in 680m49, then saved in the new fileformat.
MRU->DVO: I think, the root cause is, when you save a OO 2.0 Master Document (.oxg), the Outline isn't saved/reloaded correctly.

This issue may be set to "resolved". From m65 on there are no more crashes.
dvo->mru: Can't reproduce on m75, just like riquier said. Since we indeed fixed a bug with loading of outline levels, I assume it is already fixed. Please test & close.
resolve as WORKSFORME.
Yep, I agree. There have been some fixes regarding outline in several cases. so this is also fixed.
