Description fajun_ma 2004-08-19 08:00:36 UTC
Hi,
I creat a new word file in StarSuite 680m47(Build:8795),and input some
lines of words. Then select all of the words and click the
menu "Numbering/Bullets".Now,I want to select the words but not including the
numbers and bullets, how can I do? And also,if I just want to selct the numbers
and bullets,what shoud I do?
If I want to delete all the words and numbers,I enter "Ctrl+A",and
then "Delete",all the words don't exist now,but the first number or bullet
remains. Can you fix the bug as soon as possible? As you know, the
numbering/bullets is used in most cases.
Thanks a lot.
With best regards!

Yours,fajun.ma

Please, do not use "CS2C" as issue title/summary. We need pregnant summaries,
which describe the problem shortly. Otherwise we will have several issue with
title "CS2C" only and this will make it difficult to get a good overwiew over
issues. Of course, you can use the term additional in the issue title/summary,
that it is easy to recognize where the issue comes from; we know good about the
origin of the term "CS2C ;-)
Thanks for your patience.

MRU->FL: a good enhancement regarding the selection behaviour of OO Writer. The
big competitor does it the described way. I think this could ease thing somehow.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your attention to my issue. Please tell me when will
this problem will be fixed. You know, in China,to enhance the of clarity a
document,we use Numbering/Bullets in most cases.

FL->FT: Would be a general enhancement for past OOo 2.0. For OOo 2.0 we already
have added a new feature of being able to remove the numbering and indents by
pressing backspace (1st backspace removes the numbering itself, a second one
removes the numbering indent). In my option this is already a big enhancement
and should solve most problems inside numberings and the situation described
above..
The issue left results from not being able to set the cursor in front of a
numbering item itself and so we are not able to remove the item, because it is
not selected. This also effects the marking of single paragraphs, were we are
not able to mark a whole paragraph without setting the cursor in front of the
next paragraph. This has to be addressed, but not for OOo 2.0. So I propose 'OO
later' as new target milestone.
