Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 33467
Image border settings are not coherent
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:26:05 UTC
Problem can be demonstrated in several ways, here are few ways. Case#1 1. Open attached document. You see that the adorable bunny image has gray border lines. 2. Right click image and select 'Graphics..'. Select 'Borders' tab and set Line tyle to '- None -'. Press Ok. 3. Save document 4. Close document 5. Repeat steps 1-2. You see that image still has borders and the line style has changed to '0,05 pt' in ,'Borders' tab of 'Graphics..' dialog. Expected: Borders are not drawn after step 5 and line settings stay permanent. Case#2. 1. Open attached document. You see that the adorable bunny image has gray border lines. 2. Minimize writer window and maximize it. 3. Borders are gone, but if you go to the 'Graphics..' and 'Borders' you see that line style is '0,05 pt'. Expected: Borders are always drawn.
Created attachment 17374 [details] Demonstration of the problem
The initially visible grey borders are the so-called "object boundaries", which can be toggled in Tools.Options.OpenOffice.Appearance". Which "real borders" are active can be seen in the "Borders" tabpage of the graphic properties at the control "Line arrangement". The value "0,05 pt" is just the default value when a border line is activated in the described control". Initially, there's no border activated. MRU->OD: there seems to be a problem with with the object boundaries in animated graphics. Concentrate on the described case #2. After scrolling the graphic out of the visible area and moving it back, the object boundaries are not painted anymore.
