CVSROOT/modules patch
Comment 2 Martin Hollmichel 2002-03-07 16:31:48 UTC
Hi Taska,

how do we proceed with modules file for anoncvs ? I have no access to
CVSROOT on anoncvs, is the patch to the output of cvs co -c
sufficient ? The last location of the anoncvs modules file is
outdated.

Things would be very easy if at least domain admins would be allowed
to modify CVSROOT/modules directly.
Comment 3 Unknown 2002-03-07 17:17:24 UTC
I'll ask the operations team to keep providing me the new anoncvs
modules files and I'll post them for you.

Sent these requests to the operations team (PCN8589).
Comment 4 Unknown 2002-03-07 17:17:45 UTC
Accepting.
Comment 5 Unknown 2002-03-07 21:29:04 UTC
I've updated the anoncvs modules file on extranet:
https://sun-openofficeorg.extranet.collab.net/files/documents/45/2289/anoncvsmodules.txt

My future process on this one will be to have the operations team give
me a new version of the anoncvs modules file whenever they make a
change, so I can update the file on extranet. That way you can give
me a patch for new changes

Please attach the patch here, and I'll request the change from ops.
Thanks.

I've submitted these to the operations group (PCN8589).

I don't know if these will invalidate issue 3608; please check on that
before assigning that one to us. Thanks.

3608 is covered with this patch
Comment 13 Unknown 2002-03-25 22:50:56 UTC
We've now successfully made the update on cvs.openoffice.org.

The patch for anoncvs.openoffice.org won't apply cleanly. Could you
send us a new patch? Please use:
https://sun-openofficeorg.extranet.collab.net/files/documents/45/2289/anoncvsmodules.txt

Our ops folks recommend the following command:
$ diff -c modules.orig modules.new > patch

Martin, is the latest attached patch the final one?
Comment 15 Martin Hollmichel 2002-04-18 07:32:11 UTC
the anoncvs is still not correct, but this is my todo.

for the future I will file two separated task for fixing the modules
files, since cvs and anoncvs can have different status ( as we see ).

for this reason I mark this issue as fixed. stay tuned for more
patches to come for both modules files.

taska, do you think it is possible that we provide a script for you
that do the transformation from cvs-modules file to anoncvs-modules file ?
Comment 16 Martin Hollmichel 2004-02-17 09:01:04 UTC
