Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 3555
Exisitng Documents delete when edited
Last modified: 2003-12-06 14:52:32 UTC
Folks, I first opened this issue some 2 months ago; it was maked as Fixed by one of the staff but it is most definitely still happening. Steps to reporduce the problem: 1. Log on to www.openoffice.org as someone with admin rights to Whiteboard. 2. Create a document on the Documentation page, using an uploaded file (text or OpenOffice.org format). 3. Commit the document. 4. Log out. 5. Open the file you uploaded on your system, edit it, and save it. 6. Log back in to OpenOffice.org 7. Go back to whiteboard/documentation. Find the document you added. 8. CLick "Edit" 9. Select the "Replace file with" option, and attach the edited file as the replacement. 10. Click "Save" 11. Check the documentation list. The edited document will have been deleted unrecoverably instead of being saved with the new file. I can reproduce this problem 100% of the time. I use Konqueror 2.1.1 on SuSE Linux 7.3 -Josh Berkus Marketing Project

Yes, but as far as I can tell #3231 was marked closeed (at least, I can't review it anymore). And the problem isn't fixed. -Josh
It is a duplicate to 3231, which should be fixed with SourceCast 1.2. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3231 ***
