Description bmarcelly 2004-10-17 08:34:05 UTC
http://api.openoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/view/PrinterDescriptor.html
This page describes property PaperSize as this :
specifies the size of the paper in 100th mm.

This is false. PaperSize is measured in Twips.
There are approximately 56.7 twips per mm.

Don't forget to correct also the Developer's Guide
 chapter 7.2.3
 chapter 8.2.3
 chapter 9.2.3
Comment 2 ooo 2004-10-18 09:05:07 UTC
Spec is spec. Thus it is an implementation error.

Forwarding to responsible devloper.
Comment 3 andreas.schluens 2004-10-18 14:09:05 UTC
I will file a child task for every developer, which implements a XPrintable
interface.
Comment 4 christianjunker 2005-08-03 08:46:40 UTC
taking over and fixing the idl file -> cws cyb1.
as it also refers to wrong content in the said dev guide chapters, distinct new
issues should be opened.
Comment 5 christianjunker 2005-08-03 08:57:48 UTC
idl file fixed.
Comment 6 christianjunker 2005-08-03 09:07:20 UTC
adding myself to cc.
Comment 7 andreas.schluens 2005-08-03 09:09:31 UTC
AS->cyb: STOP !!! That's not the right fix. The IDL docu is right. UNO interfaces are
documented in 100th mm. So the implementations of Xprintable of our applications
must be changed. (And exactly that was already mentioned insise this issue here!)
Comment 8 christianjunker 2005-08-05 12:55:35 UTC
cyb->as:
reversed the change.
