Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 35826
Forum Notifications should be (optional) suppressed for my own messages
Last modified: 2021-05-27 19:28:19 UTC
I could think of a useful user profile configuration option for forum notifications: Suppress notifications for messages I created. This could work similar to the IssueTracker email preference "Notify me of changes to all qualifying issues except those which I change".
This is a good request, referencing the internal issue.
Opened a new internal issue to break this request out seperately.
This has been considered for the CEE release named 'Hood' [H2 of 2006]. Support will monitor the issue & will provide the review in the corresponding release. Regards, Jeeva - Support Operations
The target has been changed future consideration. Changing the milestone to reflect the same. Thanks, Kavitha Support Operations

There is a facility in Discussion Service to make the forum notifications to be optional for users . Moving this issue to Resolved Later queue .
Hi This feature is fixed in Rubicon and I have verified the same on a test box carrying the latest version. I shall close this case for now. Please feel free to re-open, if the functionality does not satisfy your expectation when site gets upgraded to Rubicon version of CEE. Regards, Vathsan Support Operations.
Re-opening the issue.
Marking the issue as Resolved LATER.
CollabNet Support is currently reviewing the issues under Resolved-Later. If the issues are fixed currently in any of the present CEE releases, then it will be marked as Resolved-Fixed. There might be a few issues which might not be in our future roadmap which might be closed as Wontfix unless it does not lie under any custom request.
This is availble in Rubicon & hence marking it as fixed.
