Description osavill 2004-10-20 15:30:14 UTC
Open a new "Text Document"

Setup:
   Enter "foo1@bar.co.uk"
The auto URL feature turns this into a mailto: URL

The issue:
As if the document had just been opened. Cursor to the end of "foo1@bar.co.
uk" and...
   Enter "f"
      Auto Completion prompts with "foo1@bar.co.uk"
   Reject prompt with Backspace key.

Editor now appears to be in permanent "insert URL" mode. From now on any
character entered is simply added with an underline and a link to the mailto:

When inserting a fresh URL things like ',' and ' ' terminate the URL entry,
perhaps editing a URL should have the same rules.

Reassigned to SBA.

cannot reproduce.
AutoComplete is triggered after typing three letters. (so you have to type "foo"
to have the completion offered)

Anyway, if you are in the insert hyperlink-mode press <cursor-right> to pass the
virtual formatting mark. You can now continue with the current paragraph style
(no link).
If you already typed some text that should not be part of the link, highlight it
and choose Format|Default form the menu (or use the contextmenu -> default)

If this doesn't help, give more details.

I have seen that there was no answer to cloph's question? Does it mean that the issue is solved? I
cannot reproduce it either with OOo-1.1.4rc, so it seems to be solved there. Could this issue be closed
by osavill then, please?
