Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 36632
Hide cells from printing, spreadsheet prints blank page.
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:20 UTC
The problem is that if I set all non empty cells on a page to "hide when printing" (cell protection tab), a blank page is printed. I have ticked [Tools -> Options -> Spreadsheet -> Print -> Supress output of empty pages] which did not resolve the issue. I have attached an example spreadsheet which demonstrates the problem. When printed (A4 page size), page 1 should contain the text "This is a test", whereas the second page which contains the text "Hidden" (contained in a cell which is hidden from printing) should not be printed at all, but instead an empty page is produced. Setting an empty header and footer does not help. Thanks for your time.

Could not replicate your problem. I downloaded your file and followed the steps but can print only 1 page when I hide the non-empty cell in second page. My system: P4, win98se, OOo 1.1.3 same behaviour using OOo1.9.60
Quote: "...when I hide the non-empty cell..." How exactly did you do this, because the cell is already hidden from printing in the provided file.. I re-downloaded the file, re-tested, and still have the same issue. Deleting the cell results in only 1 page being printed, so it's unlikely something else is causing this. How strange...
I am able to replicate the issue on 1.1.3 and m62 My system : p4, NLD , oo.0 1.1.3, m62
confirming.....
