Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 38068
wrong focus after inserting default draw object using CTRL+RETURN
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:33 UTC
F'UP to issue32287 new document add a drawing object using CTRL+ENTER add another one also using CTRL+ENTER click somewhere within document to deselect both object use the drawing object selector (arrow in drawing toolbar) with CTRL+ENTER the first drawing object gets selected (that's OK) hit <TAB> key -> focus travels within main toolbar with the roll-out of accessibility it was specified that <TAB> should toggle the drawing
.
CD->SSA: Hi Stephan, may be you can tell us wants wrong here. The toolbar function is correctly executed, but it looks like that the toolbar has the focus after the last CTRL+ENTER.
The focus remains in the toolbox if the controller doesn't put it somewhere else. If the drawing object should be focussed after selecting it via Ctrl-Enter, it is the controller's duty to achieve this. Additionally it should be clarified where to put the focus after inserting an object. Currently it also stays in the toolbox, however, this might not be the best decision. May be the drawing object should be focussed, so it can easily be moved to the desired location by keyboard.
AW->AF: All applications nned to do that in their controllers. Please do for Draw/Impress and maybe forward to Calc/Writer.
Changing target.
Due to resource constraints I set the target to OOo Later.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
