Comment 5 Olaf Felka 2005-01-13 12:13:11 UTC
How did you log in as root?
Comment 6 yuri_hramov 2005-01-13 12:27:26 UTC
sudo rpm -ivh openofficeorg*.rpm
Comment 7 Olaf Felka 2005-01-13 13:42:14 UTC
I would assume that your sudo settings allow the root user to create the
.OpenOfficexxx folder in $HOME of the user who should use the application.
Without appropriate user rights in this folder OOo can't work.
Comment 8 yuri_hramov 2005-01-13 13:49:59 UTC
I think this too. See points 5-9.
Comment 9 Olaf Felka 2005-01-13 13:54:59 UTC
Ok, I think we should bring up something that is more gracefull than an "Error
Internal Application error".
Comment 10 yuri_hramov 2005-01-13 14:07:39 UTC
If you need my help, I need detail instruction of my actions.
