Request for Indonesian native lang Indonesian already start Indonesian Language project. current project page is http://project.informatix.or.id we need OOo to create http://id.openoffice.org for official website project. The maintaner is willysr (Willy Sudiarto Raharjo) There are some volunteer already Yohan Daud Wihardi M. Agung Nugroho Yando Ucuk Ariyanto Nugroho Ahmad Hasnan S Ahmad Imron Febriadi Nanang W.S. Wimbadi Yantisa Akhadi I Gede Wijaya S. Willy Sudiarto Raharjo We already start with translating some documentations. and will be followed with others task. Thanks

Thanks Joost for pointing out our guidelines to Utomo. Utomo, please submit your official proposal to dev@native-lang.openoffice.org and discuss@openoffice.org . Also, keep in mind that Native-Lang projects are not just localization projects: they are about building local communities, local promotion, supporting users, writing documentation, developping and localizing OOo, working on the qa.... I'll leave this issue open until the Indonesian project gets accepted and open. Besides, you need to tell us what language you are representing, what ISO code for the language there is so that it can be used for the domain name (is that "id") and provide us with the proposed leads'usernames. Thanks Joost and Charles. OK Me and Willy will try to create the simple proposal. Yes it is "id" for Indonesian language. For Discussion groups we have http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oooindo For the FTP we already have http://komo.vlsm.org/openoffice/
We have our LUG (Linux User Group) also in Indonesia and it has an official website at http://www.linux.or.id. It's our primary community that promote OOo locally in Indonesia.
