Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 39028
No way to resize toolbar list boxes
Last modified: 2013-02-07 21:51:57 UTC
In previous OOo versions, when the toolbar customisation dialog was opened, all toolbar list boxes (LoadURL, Font NAme, Font Size, etc) were replaced by outlines, with edges that could be dragged, to change the size of the list box that would appear when the customisation was complete. In OOo 1.9_m65, this does not appear to happen, and hence there does not appear to be any way of changing the width of any of the list boxes on the toolbars.
hi ed2, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice.org... We have a completely new toolbar concept in OOo2.0. reassigned to cj mci->cj: Hi cj, I can't find anything about this in the spec. Please take over and clearify this ... thanks
reassigned to ssa mci -> ssa: Hi ssa, as dicussed with cj I send this issue to you This works in OOo1.1.x and doesn't work in OOo1.9m6x... This is a "nice to have" feature (and we should get it back) ==> I lowered the priority since there are more important issues ...)
Someone has to call Toolbox::SetCustomizeMode() and then we have to fix all arising problems due to the new toolbar implementation. But I would say we should give it a try.
CD: May be we have a chance to reawake this feature, it will need some more work to do.
This is a duplicate of issue #35225...
cd: New target as this cannot be fixed in OOo 2.0 time frame.
cd: We have to retarget this issue again as we already have to many issue for OOo 2.0.1. As described before this is a nice to have feature, but not as important as many other issues.
3 years on & still no progress in OOo 3... This seems such a basic thing, even Microsoft can do it! (& has always done it?) In fact every other application I run seems to do it. What do we need to do to wake this up? Thanks!
