In 1.9m65 - a Hebrew presentation in sxi format looks OK in "Normal view" when 
viewing "slide show" there is nothing on the screen, as if the slides are 
empty. Please see attached file.

Confirming the issue.
And on Linux OpenOffice 1.9.65 crashes.

We have problems showing anything here or even to get out of the running slideshow.

The culprit here is not the fact that the document is Hebrew, but that it
contains EMFs with bezier curves. Currently, the canvas is not able to display
them, throws an exception, and ultimately prevents the whole slide from being
rendered.

When selecting a different master page, the slide shows correctly (modulo some
problems with animated RTL text, for which I already have an internal issue). 

I changed the issue title accordingly, to match the underlying problem.
