Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 39432
Appending a Basic Library fails (ooo crashes)
Last modified: 2005-02-07 11:51:08 UTC
Download the X-Ray Tool by Bernard Marcelly (http://ooomacros.org). Choose Tools->Macros->Organize Macros->Basic->Organizer->Libraries->Append and select the file. OpenOffice will crash. I didn't try with another file but assume the same will happen. Peter
hi peter, works fine for me on SuSE 9.2 with 19m65. is it maybe a file permissions problem?
@all: the xray macro is available from http://ooomacros.org/dev.php#101416
I filed the issue after confirming by another user (see thread http://api.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=11924), so may be its a problem of the OS? Now I tried with a newly-created odt-File. Crash again. Remark: In the upcoming file-picker dialog the filter "BASIC" doesn't implement the new oasis format, so you have to type the filename. But that should be another issue. Peter
np->tbe, thinks this is for yourself or ab.
The default is reproducible, at least on Win XP. It is not related to Xray. It is a regression fault. Create a document with a library containing one small macro. I will upload such document. In the organizer dialog, Libraries tab, append the library contained in this document : you just have to select the document. Crash.
Created attachment 21116 [details] Small doc with small Basic library. Try to append it
Hi testing on 1.9.65 (fr) and linux mandrake 10.1 no problem on the sample file testAppend.sxw the simpleLib library is correctly added and the main macro can be run seems only crashing under windows ? Laurent
I submitted issue #i40031# for the problem, that the Append Libraries dialog doesn't support the OASIS file format.
