Description frank.thomas.peters 2005-01-07 11:41:30 UTC
Current situation: If a help id in a <bookmark branch="hid/..."/> is followed by
multiple <AHELP> elements, the elements seem to overwrite each other
successively so that the last <AHELP> determines the extended tip for that help
id. This leads to wrong extended tips in the UI.

Please change the extraction/assignment algorithm so that always the text of the
*first* <AHELP> element that follows a help id defined in <bookmark
branch="hid/..."/> is assigned to that Help ID and disregard all following
<AHELP>. Thanks

abi->fpe: I have verified my fix by explicitly patching xhp-files, but please
tell me also, which extended tip is the wrong one.

FPE->UFI: Please give an example of such a misassigned extended help.
Comment 3 Uwe Fischer 2005-02-07 09:20:38 UTC
The wrong extended help appeared on some dialog buttons like Back, More, Reset,
Standard. They are defined in text\shared\00\00000001.xhp.
In Writer, right-click for context menu, then choose Edit Paragraph Style. Look
at extended help for the Standard button. It shows the last available AHELP,
which happens to be the More button description.
But I already was asked to fix that file by inserting dummy help IDs where Help
IDs were missing. Don't know if that fix works.
