Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 41198
Wrong path to user/templates given in online help
Last modified: 2005-03-16 15:53:40 UTC
Delete all paths to user/templates and other ...user... paths given in the online help. Point users to Tools-Options-StarOffice-Paths instead. netinstall/user is now netinstall/presets OR userinstall/user (test in each case) files to be changed: text/shared/01/01020000.xhp text/shared/optionen/01010300.xhp text/shared/guide/standard_template.xhp text/shared/guide/spadmin.xhp
changed text/shared/01/01020000.xhp, text/shared/optionen/01010300.xhp and text/shared/guide/standard_template.xhp
please verify in CWS hc680pb2 text/shared/01020000.xhp: open the help for File - Open dialog, scroll down. The new text is: the user template directory <SWITCHINLINE select="sys"><CASEINLINE select="UNIX">in the home directory </CASEINLINE><DEFAULTINLINE>in the Documents and Settings directory</DEFAULTINLINE></SWITCHINLINE> There is no "user" path mentioned. text/shared/optionen/01010300.xhp: open the help for Tools - Options - StarOffice - Paths. Scroll down to just above the first table. The text is: Every user has an own {user} directory, to which the user also has write-access. On UNIX systems, this directory is inside the Home directory, on Windows systems it resides inside "Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data". When the user first starts %PRODUCTNAME, the {user} directory is copied from the {netinstall}/presets directory. ext/shared/guide/standard_template.xhp: open the help, enter the Index "default templates;changing". Check there is no text mentioning "user" as a path. text/shared/guide/spadmin.xhp: not relevant for this bug. re-open issue and try to reassign to hi@openoffice.org
