Description zxzx123 2005-01-28 11:29:51 UTC
I have a table which isn't displaying properly, which is rather annoying as you
can see some of the information, but the rest ins't displayed, this is a MS Word
- OpenOffice issue. I have hosted the offending item
http://www.martinleese.plus.com/Lev_3_Semester_2-2.doc

Thanx for looking, if you have any problem retrieving the file please don't
hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards

Martin

That'a a problem of Writer's table handling. It isn't possible to merge certain
cells because the table would become too complex. Writer's table cells have a
cocept of being adressed with an absolute value and this could not be granted in
certain cases of merging.
See issue 4032 and issue 29412 for further information.

Thank you for the speedy reply and information. I was however wondering if there
could be some sort of prompt which tells you that information is missing from
the table when you try and open it, I am relativly new to OpenOffice, but I
think this would be a good remider, I wasn't expecting for information missing,
so I queried the table and made myself look a little silly when they told me to
look a little
closer.

Kind Regards
