Description aparan 2005-01-31 09:29:28 UTC
In OO.o writer the Bullets/Numbering Icon of the FOrmatting toolbar is not
highlighted even when the paragraph which has the cursor/focus is numbered
/bulleted. The icon is working fine as regards the function is considered.

The use of the numbering/bullet buttons as Toggle buttons has already been
considered, but not implemented yet. So this will be reassigned to "requirements".

I would like to bring to notice another instance of this case.

type a line beginning with l. or L. (small/cap L with a period) and then some
text after it. press enter. This is converted into a number list as l, li, lii,
etc.

The problem here is if the user goes to Bullets/Numbering dialog there is no
numbering pattern showing up. Nor the displayed patterns in the 'Numbering
type' tab of the dialog show the used numbering type. It could be better if
this is updated with a suitable graphic of the 'used' number/bullet type.

I don't think anything could be worked up here to add this to OO.o 2.0. Anyway,
I feel this is much user friendly and required. could a target be set?
