The summary line says it all. Using Impress in OO1.1.4 The links display the 
URL when I hover over the hyperlink in table edit more but the link is not 
activated, i.e. it will not take you to the URL page. When I click out of edit 
mode the links won't even display on hover.

By the way the use case for this requirement is the need to create a table of 
function names that are hyperlinked to their corresponding help file. Without 
this feature Impress is not very useful for creating hyperlinked presentation 
slides for training materials.
