Description frank.thomas.peters 2005-02-01 12:08:39 UTC
1. Open writer help.

2. Select "Finding; text" from the index
The value of the xsl parameter $Database is correctly set to "swriter"

3. Click on the link "Searching for attributes" in the help file
The value of the xsl parameter $Database is incorrectly set to "shared" with the
result that the switches are not correctly evaluated and nothing is displayed.

For links inside the help files, the main_transform.xsl sends urls of the
following type:
vnd.sun.star.help://$jarfile/$helpfile?Language=$lang&System=$sys&UseDB=no

The $jarfile should tell the help provider where to fetch the file but it looks
like it is also used to change the help context (communicated via $Database).

There seems to be a misunderstanding as of how the $Database paramater
is used. Despite its name it designates the current help section/context as being
swriter, sdraw, simpress, smath, sdatabase, scalc, schart, or sbasic
This value is used to evaluate the switches. The "shared" help sections must
never be set because it doesn't exist.
