Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 42596
audit locales, cs_CZ
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:00:08 UTC
.
This is an generall OOo2.0 task, please write English in the tasks. Thx
Dan: the deadline to fix this issue is tomorrow morning. We have to solve that tonight. Can you please translate this issue report?
English translation. I have prepared new version of Czech locales. It is based on two thinks, first, the firt week of a year is week with 4 days, not with 1 day as is written in common. Decision based on http://www.iustin.cz/art.asp?art=158. Second, locales which we are using now are not compatible with locales used inside of czech vesrions of Microsoft products, it causes problems, the same format in Excel looks another, if the file is opened in OOo. So I have made all the locales exact same as is written on http://office.microsoft.com/cs-cz/assistance/HP051986791029.aspx So the solution is: 124 - Use OOo version, COMMON is wrong 125 Use OOo, COMMON is wrong 126-139 - use COMMON, OOo is wrong 140, 141 - OOo is correct, COMMON is wrong 142-165 - COMMON is correct, OOo wrong I am attaching current cs_CZ.xml in next step.
Sorry one more correction, lines 142-153 are wrong both in OOo and COMMON, Microsoft rules says, that there shlould be numbers I. -- XII. instead of 1. -- 12.
Created attachment 24761 [details] Czech locales
Eike: as requested: to you. Sorry, I forgot to reassign yesterday evening.
Fine, thanks. I'll take Dan's comments to the locale data audit page, and prepare to leave some trails in the CLDR bug tracker.. Btw, I strongly prefer a diff -u against the CVS revision, instead of an entire file attched. Hopefully no conflicts this time. Eike
