Last modified: 2005-08-31 23:02:48 UTC
Create an FAQ for PuTTY installation. Link this how-to http://www.cyberknights.com.au/doc/PuTTY-tunnelling-HOWTO.html
http://documentation.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=2198 the ddsshguide.html doc should be upgraded and the faq should link to it. Pursue this.
Added items to Documentation FAQs
Is there a reason that the new questions were not placed in the existing site_maintainers directory? To me, it does not make sense to have two: Existing: http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/site_maintainers/index.html New: http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/contributing/index.html While the site_maintainers directory was not linked to the index page, its existence was brought up for discussion and hopeful inclusion on the mail list, yet no one responded: http://documentation.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgId=1700217 The site_maintainers directory has also been referred to in several past discussions, so while it has not been publicly linked, its existence has not been hidden from the eyes of the documentation project. Please may we move the new faqs to th existing directory, delete the new directory, and link the site_maintainers directory to the FAQ index page?
The faq was not written between feb 19th and yesterday. It is now completed. You asked, I provided. As to New FAQs, I was under the impression that all it included was whatever was on OOoAuthors so I added it to the doc project. The task was left idle and cleaning up the task list was important and this was easy to do. So there was lots of opportunity to do the work prior to yesterday. I will reassign this to you and you take care of it.
I am reassigning this issue to the documentation project, as I am out of line to challenge the project leader in the way that I did.
marking issue as resolved, to place it back into the state designated by the project leader.
marking issue that I reported as closed, as the task is considered as an accomplished task by the project lead.
kcarr, please see this issue as another example
