Description marc.neumann 2005-02-21 09:43:54 UTC
1. start startoffice 7
2. create any new database via TOOLS / DATASOURCE
3. start lobeta2 cws
4. migrate
==>> according to Ocke Janssen the datasource should be availabe via VIEW /
DATASOURCES. Ocke told me that his service
com.sun.star.comp.sdb.DataSourceMigration doesn't get started. So I think that
there is a general problem with the mirgation.

cc'ing OF
Comment 2 Mathias_Bauer 2005-02-23 15:24:45 UTC
The service is instantiated, the config file is passed and cfgmgr handles it
properly.

But there are two issues in the import service for database:
(1) Inserting biblio throws exception (because it already exists) that isn't
caught anywhere in the service (but it should).
(2) If I avoid inserting for "biblio" the service creates an endless loop
(caused by a stack handling I don't know and so I don't understand).
Comment 3 Mathias_Bauer 2005-02-24 12:19:21 UTC
As we saw the exception problem is fixed easily by checking for existence of the
table.

The endless loop was caused by another problem (misconfiguration) and does not
appear anymore.

Comment 7 marc.neumann 2005-03-08 07:40:49 UTC
The main migration is stated, but the result is not working. This issue is
fixed, because this issue was about the service which wasn't start. The service
is now stated. I wrote some new issue about each wrong migration

verified in cws lobeta2
Comment 8 marc.neumann 2005-03-08 07:54:12 UTC
