Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 43582
drawing bar first contains some more buttons and then shrinks
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:50 UTC
please press the button to show/hide the Drawng bar a few times, while watching the drawing bar: you can see, that the drawing bar first contains some more buttons and then shrinks to show the selected buttons. It looks like the Drawing bar is the only toolbar that has such problems...
Sorry, I have forgotten to set the "Version" for this issue. Please set it to 2.0 beta!

When you say "press the button to show/hide the Drawng bar" you are not in draw/impress, right? I guess writer? So I reassign this...
->wg: Yes, i have found this in writer, but it also happens in Calc! Do I have to fill the same issue for Calc?
it's really the same in calc. so isn't this a framework bug?
MRU->OS: there seems a small differenc in opening the Drawing-Toolbar when once using the "View.Toolbar.Drawing" command or the FunctionBar button. When using the button, there is (for a short time) the CJK specific button (like vertical text) shown and then disappears. This only seems to happen when activating the Darawing toolbar via button.
->MRU: "This only seems to happen when activating the Darawing toolbar via button." I can't confirm this: I also can see the drawing bar shrinking when opening via view/toolbars! So I can't see any differences between opeing via menu or button. But writer and calc are the only applications that behave so.
I just have seen that a similar problem happens in Writer and Calc when switching on/off the Page Preview: Then the with of the Formatting and Standard toolbar increases and decreases. So this seems not to be a drawing bar only bug! Please check if this is a framework bug, since the drawing bar jumps in writer and calc, but not in draw and impress. ********************************************************************************* Please change "drawing bar" in Summary to "toolbars" (and set component Framework?). I don't have the rights to do that. *********************************************************************************
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
