Not reproducible either on windows. Is this still reproducible? Thanks.
Comment 3 brendel 2005-03-21 09:18:07 UTC
I just reproduced it, OK, here some more information what I did :
Im working on a XP Laptop SP2, OO 1.9.79
Open Writer
create a table
saved as TableForPastingIntoPresentation.odt (I attached this file)
open a new presentation
go to writer and highlight the table
do CTRL-C
go to presentation
do CTRL-V
goto SAVE
save as power poit presentation .ppt
OO crashes, goes immediately to recover, recovers the writer file with the table
and an Untiteld1 presentation file with the table. trying again to save it as
.ppt gives the save crash. I have attached the automatic report file that OO
creates and sends to SUN (ErrorReportTablePaste.txt)
I have also finally saved the presentation file with the table in OO format and
attached it here (TablePaste.odp). I have tried to open it and save it as .ppt
and it crashes ...

I hope this helps

Oliver

Still not reproducible in beta version with original files. Would it be possible
for you to check this in a more current versio m84? Thanks for your help.
I get a crash in beta version when reloading the exported ppt file directly
after exporting. But in later versions this is ok, maybe your problem is also
fixed there.

I'm still having the same problem using the 1.9.87 built.
I have tried to open the TablePaste.odp file and tried to save it as powerpoint
file : crash; I also have redone the whole process (created table in writer,
copied / pasted it into a new presentation file, SAVED AS powerpoint : crash.

Sorry, still not reproducible. I think this must have its cause in your personal
system configuration . Since this is not reproducible herre we cannot do
anything about it, I'm sorry. Thanks for your help anyway.
