Description tsehungtin 2005-03-20 06:49:59 UTC
Ooo 1.9.84 crashed when I selected three .doc files to open in _read only_ mode
in the Open dialog box.

I was using OOo Writer.

Attached: error mail generated in recovery process.

Issue confirmed with 1.9.87 on Windows XP Professional SP2. As user describes,
when opening multiple Word doucments as Read Only, Writer crashes. When the
same documents are opened normally (not checking read only box) there is no
crash. Documents are simply text, no images or graphics.

MRU->MBA: in Fileopen dialog, select two Word .doc's and check "read-only" box
-> when OO opens the second of both -> crash.

This is the same problem as in issue 45333: loading two word documents at a time
fails.
The call stack is slightly varying from time to time, but it always crashes in
the same area when a dead stream is accessed.
