Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 45972
Graphic objects used as watermark is raised in brightness
Last modified: 2005-11-14 17:27:53 UTC
When the brightness is reduced the graphic object becomes darker and will be more seeable when used as a watermark. So the brightness for the graphic object should be raised and not reduced. In the online help in helpcontent2/source/text/shared/02/24020000.xhp I would change the following: The graphic object is reduced in brightness and contrast so that is suitable to be used in the background as a watermark. to: The graphic object is raised in brightness and reduced in contrast so that is suitable to be used in the background as a watermark. or: The graphic object is maid brighter and reduced in contrast so that is suitable to be used in the background as a watermark.
defect -> enhancement
