Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 46532
Docked Media Player sidebar very difficult to undock
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:01:11 UTC
When the media player is docked as a 'sidebar', it is very difficult to undock and turn it back into a floating window. The edges of the window is undraggable, and the only way to undock it is to drag the area between the two 'toolbars' (between the time scrubber and the open/play/pause/stop icons) at the bottom. See forum discussion at http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=72332 for more information. A related bug, in my opinion, would be "no close button": http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=41260 Screenshots (to be attached) - one showing the original, undocked media player and one showing the docked state and the difficulties in undocking it. Tested using the official English OOo 2.0 Beta (1.9.79) under Windows XP SP2 (English). Untested under any other system - although as this is a UI problem I believe it would also be present under Linux and Mac OS X. Note: I am not a developer so forgive me for any mistakes in this bug report!

I think, that this issue is obsolete, because there is no "media player" in OOo3.0 but you can insert a "Movie and Sound". Doing that you get a "Media Playback"-toolbar, which can be docked and undocked without problems.
Ctrl + Double click works on the window below the time field.
