Installation fails with a message saying that "the wizzard was interrupted
before OpenOffice.org 1.9.79 could be completely installed".

- tried uninstalling 1.1.4 first : no change
- tried updating Java first : no change

Found no workaround

OS is Win 2000 SP4 French, up to date
Logged in as administrator.
No known problem on this PC.

of @ bcuzeau: I've tried to reproduce. Unfortunately I don't have a french W2K
version. Where have you downloaded from? I've tried with the version from
http://ftp.stardiv.de/pub/OpenOffice.org/stable/2.0beta/. Have you tried also
with the latest snapshot (http://download.openoffice.org/680/index.html)?

of @ bcuzeau: Please don't answer directly to of@openoffice.org, use issuezilla
for tracking your answers. As you have written this download works on a
different system. I remember a similar issue. The trouble was caused by a
defective Microsoft Installer. Please try to reinstall a new version of MSI,
this might hopefully help.

Reproduced this behaviour with M109 and M113 in W2K SP3.

Updated MSI to 3.1 still no difference.

I then put the installation files on the C: drive and the  install ran as normal.

It seems to have some sort of problem installing from any drive other than c
