Description tony_52 2005-04-06 15:25:15 UTC
Hi just been trying to use the Word Processor, however, when I attempted to set
some text to italic, nothing happened. Bold and underline work fine.

Cheers

On Windows, I do not encounter the problem..
It sounds like a duplicate of issue 18285. Do you agree?

It may possibly be a duplicate of issue 18285, if it is then I'm a little
surprised, because this issue was raised around 18 months ago.

Cheers

Why would you be surprised? You don't snip with your fingers and have a fix...

On linux, you need fonts that come with a bold and/or italic vesion to use
italic/bold on screen.
