Description bmarcelly 2005-04-08 14:27:24 UTC
Steps to reproduce :
1 - open Writer
2 - Customize Formatting Toolbar
3 - Rename command "Styles and formatting" to "Stylist"
4 - OK
5 - Display "Visible buttons" : the button reads "Stylist"
6 - Drag mouse over the renamed button : the bubble hint reads "Styles and formatting"

No change even after closing and reloading OOo.
Comment 1 bmarcelly 2005-05-06 13:48:45 UTC
Still exists on 1.9.100.
Additional comment :
This bug only happens with OOo commands. Renaming works OK with a new button calling a
macro.

I can confirm this issue for Windows version m114.
You can call the Rename command for any toolbar icon. The new name only shows in
the Customize dialog and in the "Visible buttons" list, but it never makes it to
the tooltip. Framework issue, not a documentation issue.
