Linux Redhat 9.0
I was in the process of building a new database and was using the form design 
screen. Running the split green with the database view above the form, I 
somehow entered a new record. When I tryed to exit, I got a message asking if 
I wanted to save the new record. I replyed yes. The database then froze. I did 
manage to close the DB from the bar on the bottom of the screen but could not 
reopen the database until I rebooted the machine.

That's "screen" not "green"

the base component of 2.0beta is reportedly crashy. however quite some things
should be fixed in the latest snapshout build.
please be so kind a retest with a build available from:
