Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47540
Unexpected Crash when copying text from website tot word processor and the saving
Last modified: 2005-05-08 23:33:27 UTC
Hello, I found the following heavy crash which is reproducable: I copied the complete article text 'Samba, Soccer and Open Source' from http://www.it-director.com/article.php?articleid=12645 by selecting header and text and using right-mouse ' copy'. If you then open OOo word processor and you press right-mouse ' paste' it gets pasted right. After that I used the 'save' button from the menu. After giving the file a name and confirming the save-action OOo crashes and starts with the recovery interface. This seems to me be to a heavy crash, although I do not yet have any clue why it occurs. But there must somewhere be an error. If I only copy and paste the header of the article, OOo does not crash for example. fyi: I use firefox 1.0.2 By the way: the recovery works fine and it fully recovers the crahs as well as the pasted-text

Reassigned to ES.
i cannot reproduce with 1.9.95 on linux FC3. copy made from mozilla 1.8 nighly build from 20050417
Thanks for reviewing, it might be a Windows specific issue: I use W2k for this test and OOo 1.9.93 and it still occurs. Please reproduce on Windows machine (2000)
