Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47549
Export XHTML: (X)Forms should be included
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I assume it won't be too hard to include a (X)Form in the XHTML export, since a form is an XML (sub)document anyway. At the moment form information seems to be ignored completely. So, this is a request for an enhancement of an Export to XHTML that includes XForms. :-)
Reassigned to MSC.
reassign to requirements to evaluate this enhancement
I put me on CC
Giving this feature the "OOo later" target
Added Lars on CC and a link to XHTML XForms sample documents: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/xforms/samples.html
Can you develop exporting to XForms? Importing XForms documents? I'm trying to say what mru said 2 years before: OOo is very good WYSIWYG editor which writes xml files and would be the better XForms editor ever. Think of the possibilities, ODT, PDF, XHTML all editing together! Thanks.
i almost finished XSLT for this task - how i can access to CVS (SVN)? I need older brother for adaptation here :)
We are currently preparing a new XHTML transformation, not based on OOo1.x XML format but on ODF. Perhaps it would make more sense to add your work to this one? I hope that we can make this accessible in a Child Workspace soon.
glad to hear it - i think about schema change too but have not much time to do it alone is sxw will be dropped in XHTML filter? Surely i can rewrite my xslt to odt schema. Can i get basis XSLT?
Yes, we will exchange the filter and set the former filter as deprecated. The XHTML filter that exist currently in our Office transforming "SXW/SXC/SXI to XHTML" will no longer be enhanced from Sun, instead we would focus on the "ODT/ODS/ODP to XHTML" transformation. Nevertheless the transformation of SXW to XHTML would still work in the Office as the elder format will be mapped internally to the elder XML file format. We will ping you as soon the CWS is up and the sources are available..
