Making the PDF export compete, for this it needs to be compatible whit adobe
acrobat reader 2.0 for pocket pc.

When you make a form and fill it on youre pocket pc it is possibel to safe the
data on youre device and sync it back to you pc competly filled. This is when
you make a form whit the adobe software. If you make a form in OOo the form
works fine but can't be saved only printed filled in. When you make a form now
youll get this massage opening the pdf on a pocket

"This is not a supported form type. For further information, please refer to
the adobe Reader user guide"

So i suggest to make the pdf export compleet and add form support to it!

Imko.

So what does the adobe Reader user guide tells you about supported form types?

I found out it needs to be a XFA format

you can find what XFA is and how to huse it( i think) at
http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/xml/index_arch.html

hope this helps

OOo already supports XML-Forms in PDFs

Did you try the various methods OOo offers? (Use File|Export as PDF.. and not
the icon in the toolbar to get access to these advanced options. The dialog is
offered after the filename-selection).

Please check whether the XML-form export (or any of the other options) in OOo
works for you.

Yes i did, i tryed them all. all possible way's and none is working. The
problem whit the XML export is that windows CE cant handle that. I am looking
for it .. but for now results came up empty.

Apparently Acrobat Reader for pocket pc needs some variation of the XML-Forms.
Since I don't own such a device and the reader cannot be lauched in regular
windows I cannot test myself.

Reassigning to gsl - maybe this is known already.

Summary:
The PDF-forms created with OOo 2.0 are not suitable for acrobat reader 2.0 for
pocket pc.
Probably it needs a variation of the XML-forms.

I've tried it with an PDA and MS-Windows Mobile Version 5.
The text was not readable, white eagle on white background.
The PDF-Reader is named as "ClearVue PDF"
Don't shure whether defect or enhancement.
